I have created a picture for "More Die of Heartbreak." It will seem confusing at first to understand, so I am going too explain some key parts of the picture.
Broken Heart within a Hand- This is an example of characterization in the book. There are two people, ones who try for love but leave with half a heart stolen, and ones who steal half a heart away (That person in the end of the railroad holding half a heart). Of course, in real life, there are ones who lead happy love lives, two hearts becoming one in unison, where love is life, purity, and faith, love that lasts forever. Yet, this book does not depict that easy love. Love steals, and love destroys...
Broken Railroad- This is the setting of the book, not literally, but figuratively. The book is basically depicting two mens' love lives that always end up terribly, no matter what they do. Thus, a railroad torn apart that goes on and on and on.
Broken Hearts- This is the foundation of the world. It's created with the acccumulation of all the relationships that ended with torn and broken emotions. It's somewhat like the structure of the book, where there are so many broken hearts, a world can be filled with them.
Basically, the picture shows another world, not a world of intellect and knowledge, but rather, one of raw emotions, especially love.
